The carbon engine guard for the BMW R NineT replaces the original part, if the NineT is equipped with one, using the original mounting points. The Ilmberger engine guard weighs only 470g. The focus is on weight reduction (typically around 70% lighter than the original part) and increased rigidity.
The carbon part is entirely made in an autoclave from pre-impregnated material, following the latest guidelines, and then coated with a transparent plastic layer, as is our standard, to protect it from environmental influences.
