For this high-tech product, Ilmberger uses pre-impregnated carbon fiber mats. The fiber volume is carefully calibrated, and the orientation of the different fiber layers is precisely defined. The matrix is then hand-laminated without any air bubbles and coated twice with a protective layer. An additional clear coat protects and highlights the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. After curing in an autoclave, the carbon components meet the highest standards and can withstand maximum stress.
